Inter-RF Subsystem Interface Documents, Scope 1 – Voice Services

Optional

Provides guidance necessary to meet the optional (mandatory if connecting P25 RFSSs using the ISSI) Scope 1 P25 protocol standards defining ISSI support of P25 trunked voice service among multi-jurisdictional systems, including support for roaming subscriber equipment, with the following objectives:

  • Mobility management

  • Call control

  • PTT management

  • P25 supplementary data service (e.g., call alert)

  • P25 packet data on the Data Network Interface (including OTAR)

  • ISSI support of the P25 CSSI

  • P25 conventional voice service (including mixed trunked/conventional voice service)
