Practitioner Driven

The PSCR (Public Safety Communications Research) program involves public safety practitioners — fire, police, and EMS (emergency medical services) — directly in its research and development activities for public safety specific requirements.

Project results of the PSCR program are disseminated regularly to the public safety community through applicable conferences such as the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials — International, the International Wireless Communications Expo, articles, reports and documents, and DHS (Department of Homeland Security) outreach events.
