Video Quality in Public Safety Workshop: FEB 1 – 3, 2010 (Boulder, CO) — In partnership with DHS/OIC (Department of Homeland Security/Office for Interoperability and Compatibility), the PSCR (Public Safety Communications Research) program hosted its second VQiPS workshop.
Voice Interoperability Workshop: NOV 16 – 18, 2009 (Halifax, Nova Scotia) — At the Third Canadian Voice Interoperability workshop: A CITIG National forum “From Planning to Action,” PSCR (Public Safety Communications Research) presented an overview describing where its work stands.
International Association of Fire Fighters Conference: NOV 9 – 11, 2009 (Los Angeles, CA) — At the IAFF's Twentieth Symposium on the Occupational Health and Hazards of the Fire Service, PSCR (Public Safety Communications Research) presented an overview of its background noise testing for firefighting environments. Public Safety VoIP Presentation: OCT 27 – 30, 2009 (Mobile, AL) — At the 3rd Annual Gulf Coast Technology Summit, PSCR (Public Safety Communications Research) presented its work on BSI (Bridging Systems Interface), a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) method for interconnecting public safety communications bridges.
