WINTER 2011 TECHNICAL WORKSHOP: NETWORK IDENTIFIERS AND ROAMING/CLEARING

NOV 30 – DEC 1, 2011 (Boulder, CO) — The PSCR program hosted a technical workshop for the 700-MHz Public Safety Broadband Demonstration Network.

Public Safety Broadband Demonstration Network stakeholders attend a meeting in the Department of Commerce Boulder Laboratories auditorium.

Emil Olbrich (back-right, lectern) kicks off the two-day workshop that brought together 100 participants.

The invitational meeting gathered representatives from the PSST OAC, PSCR’s 700-MHz Public Safety Broadband Demonstration Network Study Item participants, and Federal partners. Attendees met to share information and discuss the issues surrounding Network Identifiers and Roaming/Clearing in the context of building out a nationwide, interoperable public safety broadband network.
